What To Expect From Your Pilates Classes…
This is a 1-2-1 Pilates and Restorative Movement-based class, suitable for anyone who wants to release tension, move and strengthen their body but on a 1-2-1 basis.
Whether you are a budding athlete, have never exercised before, have an injury or want to improve your posture, Pilates will benefit you.
Through deep, simple and precise movements, and gentle releases, we will alleviate postural-based tension, mobilise your body, improve your balance, increase your flexibility, and strengthen and tone your body.
This 1-2-1 class is often popular for those with an injury or very specific goals as the classes are completely tailored to your needs and focused on your goals.
After the class, you will feel both relaxed and like you have worked out.
The 1-2-1 classes incorporate seated, standing and floor work. We’ll use small equipment such as massage balls, fascial release balls, therabands, wobble cushions, overballs and foam rollers so that exercises are varied, interesting and fun.
Best of all, it is a lovely opportunity to have some time and space for yourself, away from your busy routine.
You will get access to a closed Facebook group for support between sessions.

Sessions are interchangeable with all massage sessions held at the Zing Wellness Studio so we can mix and match as appropriate.

Are there any pre-requisites to starting this 1-2-1 Pilates class? No; it really is for everyone!
Can anyone do your Pilates class? There are some medical conditions that will require medical consent for you to exercise. I will send you a health questionnaire to complete before you come for your first session.
What do I wear to the Pilates class? Please wear comfortable clothing including socks.
What do I need to bring to the Pilates class? Please bring some water and during these covid times please bring your own mat and Pilates equipment
When are you available to teach them? Slots are available on Monday morning, Friday morning and Saturday mornings.

Angela is a calming and empathetic teacher who teaches people as people not just bodies. She considers the physical body as a whole progressing you towards a balanced body and mind.
I first started my one on one sessions with Angela back in 2016. I was a complete beginner at Pilates, but had been recommended Pilates for lower back & hip pain, amongst various other health hurdles. From the first session that I had with Angela I knew that she had a vested interest in supporting me along my journey. Angela’s extensive knowledge and pure passion for teaching have allowed me to follow tailored plans in each hour long session that have not only improved my core mobility, breathing and overall health but also helpedme to achieve a balanced mind. The 1-2-1 sessions with Angela have really helped me to learn in great detail the positive impact Pilates can have on the body & mind and every session is thoroughly enjoyable. Angela’s coaching style is easy to follow and she is super supportive in getting the best from you during each session. Angela goes above and beyond always supporting with additional information or advice in each session which has been invaluable for my journey. I would highly recommend her one on one sessions as it has changed my life for the better!
