What To Expect From Your Sunday Night Pilates By Candlelight Class…

This blissful class combines breath work, release work, stretches and deep core work followed by an anti-anxiety hypnosis. It provides the perfect recipe for resetting your nervous system and setting yourself up for a good night of quality sleep so that you start the week feeling relaxed, recharged and ready for anything. 

One of the benefits of this class being online is that you can set up your own nest. You might like to light a scented candle, have a diffuser and make your environment blissful and relaxing.  For the hypnosis section, clients often move onto the sofa or even roll into bed. 

The resounding feedback I receive from clients is about the quality of their sleep afterwards; they report being able to start their week fully refreshed and in a positive mindset.

I give you access to a recording of the anti-anxiety hypnosis track which means you can listen to it again and again after the class.

You don’t need to have any Pilates experience, just a willingness to move and a curiosity to explore your body and, most importantly, unwind.

How many spaces are there in the Pilates class? 
There are 20 spaces in this class – more than normal. This is because the lights are dimmed and clients are encouraged to look inward, closing their eyes and going into a deep state of relaxation.

What do I wear to the Pilates class? Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely

What do I need to bring to the Pilates class?  Have some water handy.  I also suggest you have a tennis ball or spikey ball, a theraband or a dressing gown cord, cushions and a blanket.  I sometimes use a fascial release ball too which I am happy to loan you or you can purchase via our online shop. For a real treat, I also suggest that you light a scented candle and have your aromatherapy diffuser on. (It’s all about the creation of a calm, nurturing atmosphere in the comfort of your own home).

 Release postural tensions and learn techniques to improve your posture and alignment

 Reset your nervous system

 Improve your sleep

 Take time to slow down and listen to your body

 Have some dedicated sanctuary and ‘me time’

 Reduce anxiety and learn how to use self hypnosis to relax and reduce anxiety

 Tackle those aches and pains caused by our modern busy lives

 Take yourself to place of peace and calm
